Hi. I am writing a law personal statement. I am including the following sentences but am deciding on whether to use the word "THAT" or "WHICH." Please give me your advice? Thanks.

1) "The Trent Indian Student Association involved weekly social gatherings "THAT or WHICH" developed important friendships from various multicultural groups."

2) "Furthermore, I implemented several business strategies "THAT or WHICH" improved the success of the motel."
